USS Salt Lake City CA-25 Association 2021 Annual Reunion

After missing last year to due to the Covid-19 situation, we are pleased to invite you to the 2021 reunion of the USS Salt Lake City CA-25 Association. In view of our smaller group, and in an effort to hold down costs, we are making the planned tours optional. Please see details below.

Dates: July 11 (arrival date) to July 15 (departure date)
Place: Hilton Higgins Hotel, New Orleans
The 1-year-old Hilton Higgins Hotel is next door to the World War II Museum. You can use this link to reserve your room at a special group rate ($129 plus tax per night):

You can also call 833-357-1172 to make reservations by phone. Make sure you tell them you're with the Salt Lake City group. Hotel reservations must be made by June 12, 2021, to be guaranteed a room and qualify for the group rate.

Registration:
The base cost to register for the reunion is $125 per person. Children 12 years old and under are free. Registration fees help the association offer the opening reception, the hospitality room throughout the reunion, two days full admission to the World War II museum (including both feature films), and the banquet with entertainment.

Optional tours include:
1. Tuesday: 2.5 hour steamboat river cruise with dinner ($93 per person)

2. Wednesday: Choose either one (the tours are at the same time) of these daytime Grey Line tours: ($24 per person)

a. City of New Orleans Tour - See all the major sites of New Orleans, including the French Quarter, historic neighborhoods and cemeteries, Lake Ponchartrain, St. Charles Avenue, and much more. (2.5 hours)

b. Swamp and Bayou Tour -- After a short motor coach ride across the Mississippi River, take a fascinating boat trip into the Louisiana swamps and bayous to get up close to some southern gators…in Gator Country! (3.75 hours)
