My name is James P. King from Trenton, Ohio. I was on the Salt Lake City with the rate of FC2c.

I have not had my computer very long, so I looked up the SLC. Boy I was sure suprised at what I found. You did a wonderful job of looking all that information up.

I went aboard at Pearl Harbor the latter part of 1942. I stayed on until the atom bomb test at Bikini, even went aboard after test.

You brought things back that I had forgotten. Heck that has been only 50 some years ago.

I have been trying to find SLC Veteran, Harold L. Lockhart, FC3c, later an Ensign. If you have any information on him I would apperciate it.

I would like to here from you. I can not travel much any more. I have a hard time breathing on oxygen...that is what smoking does.

A little more about me. I am 78 years young, born, 6-13-23. My wife passed away Dec. 3, 2000. I only had her around 53 years. So I am doing by myself. No fun.
