Good afternoon Sandy,

First, let me say "Thank you so much" for the USS Salt Lake City site. My dad served on the SLC 1943-45 and he really appreciates this site! In fact, he is #9 in picture with Gunner's Mates & Turret Crew, March 1943. He wanted me to email you the complete names of the rest of the guys. He remembers them like it was yesterday. Number 4 is Eugene Evelyn Sutton, SL1. Number 7 is James W "Buddy" Jones, S1c.

I've given your site address to a couple of our history instructors on campus. If I was teaching history, I would want my students to go to your site. It shows the personal side to such an important time in our history. You honor all who served on the USS Salt Lake City--thank you so very much.
