U.S.S. SLC...USN...Donald R. Cody, Y1c Donald R. Coda was on the SLC from Mar. 1946 to Sept. 1946 & during Operation Crossroads. He is an "Atomic Veteran", (one of those who crawled around on the radioactive shops during that time). Donald will be celebrating is 91st birthday soon and will be enjoying reading the history of the ship on the SLC Website. Information from son, Douglas Cody
