FLAGBAR 501x15

USS SLC...Enlisted Navy...Dementro Glinzak, MoMM2c

August 24th, 2002

Hi,

I'm Demento (Lem) Glinzak's nephew. My daughter searched Google.com on Glinzak and found the SLC website and your reference to my uncle. My uncle returned to Ohio after the war, worked until retirement as a crane operator in a steel mill, all the while living in the family home in Smithfield, OH. He took care of his mother until her death in the 80's. He never married.

He has spent the last several years in a rest home with his sister Katherine in Chicago, under the watchful eye of his youngest brother, Lou. Lou and his wife have just moved to a new home in Punta Gorda, FL. and have moved Lem and Katherine to a rest home near them.

If you wish, I will pass on any info you want to my uncle, and see if he is able to contact you by telephone or by me passing through a message. I know he's not well, but I think his memories are OK.
