I enlisted at 16 on Jul. 1, 1943
Boot Camp Newport RI.
Went aboard SLC 10/45 in Astoria, Oregon.
Left SLC in Bikini after second a bomb test
Spent 18 mos. at Escort Repair Base Trinidad BWI.

I served in the following ships.

USS ATLANTA
USS OKLAHOMA CITY
USS JARVIS DD799

I was MM2c when discharged from the service.

I knew Lloyd Morgan, MM3c,  William O. "Bill" Craven, MM2c,  P. M. Cole, CMM and some other first names.
