U.S.S. SLC...USN...Hulin McKinney March 26, 2014 Sandra, I'm looking at my father's Notice of Separation from U.S. Naval Service. Seems that he was on 6 different ships over the course of 16 months. There are no dates. Not sure where to get those. He began his service on 3-2-45 discharged on 7-5-46. I'm sure dad must have been on the USS SLC the longest as that is the only one he ever refers to in his talking. This is what is listed.
