USS SLC...Enlisted Navy...Harold D. Mobbs, PhM3c Harold D. Mobbs passed away in 1995 Sandy, I recently found your website when seeking some information about the ship my father served on during WWII. Thanks for your hard work in providing this wonderful archive of information for the servicemembers and their families. I can add to the information on the website by identifying my father in Group Photo #168. I believe he's #5 in the photo. His name was Harold D. Mobbs, and his rank was PhM3c. He was proud of his service in the medical department on the USS Salt Lake City. He passed away in 1995. Faye #2 in picture with Medical Dept. 1945
