USS SLC...Enlisted Navy...Briney Patterson, S1c

US FLAG Briney Patterson passed away in 1981 of cancer in the Longbeach VA hospital.

My father, Briney Patterson, S1c, of Bloomfield, MO., served aboard the USS SLC CA-25 from 15 Sep 1933 until 2 Sep 1937.

He served in the Armored infantry in WW2 as a commsioned officer and then completed 26 years total military service in the Air Force.

I have all his old military records and files. The photo lists his best friends and their hometowns. There are 12 enlisted and a few officers he liked.
