US FLAG Steve M. Scott passed away on Apr. 2nd, 1994 at the age of 73. Info from grandson Landon Price

Steve M. Scott was born on Nov. 28th, 1920 and joined the Navy on July 3rd, 1940. Before he boarded the USS SLC CA25 on Oct. 13th, 1940 he served on the USS Entersprise. He was transferred off the SLC to Fleet Gunnery School on Dec. 21st, 1942.

Scott earned a Navy Good Conduct Medal, Pacific Campaign Medal, American Defense medal, WW2 Service Medal, and the Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal. He left the Navy on Feb. 20th, 1945 at the age of 24.
