US FLAG Lloyd A. Shank passed away on Feb. 11th, 2010 in Erie, MI.

Obituary

Lloyd A. Shank, 90, of Erie Township, MI. died Thurs. Feb. 11th, 2010 in his home. Lloyd was born June 20th, 1919 in Lancaster, PA. to Harry & Ruth Shank; both have preceded him in death.

Lloyd worked as a Die Welder for over 50 years and at Power Train for 30 years retiring in 1999 at the age of 80. Lloyd proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy; his country will be forever grateful for his sacrifices for out freedoms.

Surviving Lloyd is his loving wife of 56 years; Catherine, daughter; Debra, grandchildren; Patrick, Vanessa and Megan, many nieces and nephews, and wonderful neighbors; Tim, Julie and children. Lloyd was also preceded in death by his sister; Ella Mae Bates and brother; David Shank.

Graveside Services were held Mon. Feb. 15th, 2010 at 10 a.m. in Erie Union Cemetery, on Cemetery Road between Erie and Samaria Roads, Erie, MI. with Pastor David Rushton Officiating.
