Hello,

My Grandfather, Franklin Sperry F3C, was on this ship. I have a Christmas 1938 Menu in excellent condition that he sent to my Great Grand Mother in 1938.

He was in the Merchant Marines and served on several ships prior to inlisting in the Navy. He was in the Navy from 1937-1946. His Rating was (AS, F2, F1, MM2, & MM1 ) according to his discharge papers.
