Dear Sandy,

My name is Rodney Wilson. I am told my grandfather served on the USS Salt Lake City in 1944 and 1945. He passed away when I was very young and I never really got know him. I would like any information you might have that may help me learn more about his service experience. The web page looks great. I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank You very much,
Rodney Wilson

Below is a picture of my Dad, dated the day before his 22nd birthday 29 May 1944. He is second from the left. I don't know the names of any of the other sailors, but sure would like to.

My son, Rodney, turned me on to your web site. Great job you are doing. I'll be sending more pictures later.

Jack Wilson
