Hi, Sandy

I thought you might like this photo of a Marine who served in USS Salt Lake City (CA-25) as a young Corporal. This photo was taken around 1958 in Oslo, Norway following the Change of Command Ceremony for the Marine Detachment, USS Macon (CA-132).

We published an article regarding the Marine Detachment, USS MACON (CA-132) in August 2006 we had a flood of request for contact information about Captain Adams. Some who were not even members of the United States Seagoing Marine Association. Seems the members has shared with others, some sailors, who had served with him through the years and held in high esteem.

I spoke with him and he is doing well, and sharp as a tack.
