US FLAG James R. Brown passed away on Jan. 4th, 2004

My Godfather is James R. Brown, S1c. and he served on the USS Salt Lake City from 1936 to late 1940. He has photos of some of the crew aboard her that I will send to you.

He lives in Seattle (Ballard) Washington & would love to hear from any of the SLC Shipmates or family members of shipmates that served on the SLC at the same time. Write to "Sandy" for his mailing address.
