US FLAG James W. Davis passed away on Feb. 8th, 2018 at the age of 95. Information from great nephew Payne Vincent

Mrs. Thompson-Eskew,

I just came across your site. My Great-Uncle Jim was James W. Davis, Kingfisher Pilot. He never spoke much about the war, but I did get to speak with him before he died last year and he told me stories.

Thank you for curating this site. Perhaps in the next few weeks I will research more into how I can assist with the effort. I am an amateur historian and am very proud of my uncle and the things that their Ole’ Swayback accomplished. I’ll leave the only picture of him in my possession below.

Best Regards,
Payne Vincent
