I was so thrilled to find your website on the USS Salt Lake City. My father served in WWII on the SLC. After a little surfing I located a picture of him but not any other information. My father died when I was 15 and was an older dad so all I have is written information such as Navy ribbons and some dates. His name was William Finley Hodnett. His rank was EM2 v-6.
