Model of the USS SALT LAKE CITY CA25 "OLD SWAYBACK MARU"
built by SLC Veteran, Maurice J. Kidney, Jr.
Mickey & his brother, Edward, took their dad's model to the
WWII Memorial in Washington, DC, and displayed it on Father's Day
June 19th, 2005.

The Model was built in 1985 to represent what it looked like in 1943.
As you will see as you scroll through the pictures,
a lot of love went into this project.
