Harold L. Pepperman passed away on July 6th, 2012. Information from daughter Rebecca Weaver
Sandy,
I was the Log Room Yeoman, (Engineering Office) on the Salt Lake
City. I have some pictures of the SLC in dry dock at the Navy Yard in
California. I also have a newspaper, the "Oregonian" I believe showing
the Salt Lake City passing beneath a Bridge in Oregon as we were going
up the river for Navy Day. I would give them to a Salt Lake City museum
if there is one.
