US FLAG Frank's deceased date unknown
Greetings -

In a continuing effort to learn more about my surname, I do a search every once in awhile. I was surprised to see your list of enlisted men and my late uncle, Frank Saraczewski.

I found an 'Entitlement Document' dated 10/12/91 - his Service #342 16 08. The medals that he was eligible for were Good Conduct, WW2 Victory, American Def. Service, American Campaign, and Asiatic/Pacific Campaign.

He reported for duty on 3/10/40 on the ship at Pearl Harbor. Don't know how long he was there. I'll make another pass thru the letters - perhaps there is an official document that I missed amongst the letters and cut out pictures from magazines.

I don't mind one bit being a contact person, but I don't know how much help I'll be. I discovered him around '95 and only visited him four times.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Glad to be able to contribute to your documentation effort.

Stan Saraczewski
