Thanks to the help of my cousin I found this web site. I have been trying to find information or someone to talk to that remembers my dad. His name was Charles Arthur Swearingen and he served aboard the USS Salt Lake City - not sure what dates. Anyway, please post a message for me. I would love to hear from anyone that remembers him and hear their stories!

You don't know how much this means to me! I will gather all of the information I can from my Mom and grandmother.

My father died January 11, 1982 at the age of 59 (heart attack). He had four children (the eldest is deceased). I am the youngest and the only girl. My Mom has pictures so will try to get them to you as soon as possible.
