My name is George Vernon White Jr. My father served on the SLC during WW2. I found a picture of him on your website in group pictures, #9 in the 3rd Division, Feb. 03 1944.

I don't have any information on my father's naval service, all I know is he served on the SLC. I don't know when he entered or was discharged. Also I have no pictures of him in uniform. My father was born on Jan. 21 1914 and died on Feb. 04 1979.
