Hi,

My great grandfather, James Elgin Wiles, served on this ship. He passed away in the early 90's. I am writing to ask if there is any type of memorabilia available, (hats, etc..) with the ship's name and number on it. I miss my great grandfather a lot. I had many wonderful times with him, but he never really talked much about the service, so I am doing a little research on my on. I sent off for his separation papers and received a copy of them, and I also acquired one of his issued naval hats. Any information you could provide me would be greatly appreciated.
