I was searching through all of the pictures looking for my grandfather Samuel "Wint" Winfred Wilson, a S1C on the SLC. I am not sure what his duties were. Anyone with any information on his duties, personality, habits...etc. Please get in touch with me. He was from Albertville, AL.

Winfred passed away two years ago [1999] this coming October. My dad still has his helmet from the Navy that looked like the old hard hats in some of the gunners pictures.
