US FLAG Paul passed away on January 16th, 2006 - reported by his surviving spouse, Geraldine Aston
Feb. 7th, 2007 - Information from Gerry Aston

Paul went aboard the Salt Lake city in the Spring of 1942, just before the Doolittle Raid. He left the ship in May or June of 1945. He was in route back to San Francisco in August of 1945 when the war ended. His last job was discharging men at the naval base in San Francisco.

He came home on Oct. 4th, 1945 and I met him his first day home and fell in love. We were married Dec. 24, 1945 and had 60 years of happiness before his death Jan. 16th, 2006. He is buried at the National Cemetery in Dallas/Ft. Worth.
