Fred Louis Border passed away on June 22nd, 2003 in Indianapolis, IN. at the age of 84
Fred "Fritz" Border was born in Indianapolis, IN. on Aug. 30, 1918 and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. He joined the Navy in 1936 and served during WWII and the Korean War.
During his 20 years in the Navy he served on many ships. He retired from the Navy in 1956.
He married Iola King in CA. in 1938. They were married for 54 years until her death in 1992. While employed by Crown Zellerbach Paper Co., he resided in CA. and Middletown, NJ. for 35 years until retired from Sturm Machinery as a Sales Engineer in 1995.
He married Charlotte Barnett Plummer in 1995 in Indianapolis. She died in Feb. 2003.
