Robert Dale Jackson was born on Nov. 4th, 1922 in Mounds, OK. to Robert Lee & Margaret Jackson. He attended High school there and then he graduated from Allen Military Academy at Bryan, TX. in 1942.

He entered the Navy on July 19th, 1943 and went to Boot Camp at San Diego, CA. He boarded the SLC in August of 1943 and was discharged in April of 1946 with rating of MM2c.

He returned to Corpus Christi, TX. and went to college at A. & S. in Kingsville, TX. He married Bette Jo Davis on Oct. 31st, 1947 and they had two daughters. Their older daughter, Margaret, died on March 7, 2002 of breast cancer at the age of 53. Their younger daughter Susan Moore is a judge in Texas.

Bette passed away on March 1st, 2014
