U.S.S. SLC...USN...Robert F. "Bob" Rickey, CMM Sadly, Robert F. Rickey passed away in 1983 Here is the formal picture. I am also including one with my mother. I believe from reading the service record of the ship this was the first time he saw her. This would be California circa 1943. His name was Robert Franklin Rickey, sadley he passed during my second year of service in 1983. From what I know the ship was his only posting. He was on it from before the war until is was decommissioned. Not long after that he left the Navy.
