I was born on August 23rd, 1926. I attended school in Denham Springs, LA. I joined the USN on Jan. 4th, 1944 and went to Boot Camp and Electical School at San Diego Naval Base. I was assigned to the USS Salt Lake City about May of 1944 and remained on her until my discharge on May 13th, 1946.
