US FLAG Grady W. Cain passed away in 1976
March 29th, 2001

I've spent the last two or three evenings exploring your excellent site on the "SLC" and was very pleased to find a picture of my father, Grady W. Cain, who was a seaman on the SLC. He was very proud of "his' ship, and used to tell many of the stories I found on your site.

My father died in 1976, but left me his sea chest. I may have some more pictures if your interested.

Once again, yours is an excellent site, and thank you for all your work in making such a contribution.

Grady D. Cain
Francis Lambert, Dau.
