US FLAG Weldon V. Eskew passed away in 1971
June 9, 2004

He was a suvivor of the USS ARIZONA Dec. 7th, 1941
He boarded the USS SALT LAKE CITY CA25 on Dec. 18th, 1941 and served on her until he was transferred on Nov. 6th, 1942.

He was on the Arneb AKA-56 supply ship for the first two Operation Deep Freeze expeditions [1955-56].
