ball-red-02 Silleman, Oscar W., SK2c received a 1 1/2" laceration above the right eye when he slipped going down the ladder to the Second Division compartment, negligence not apparent. Treated in Sick Bay. Was not admitted to sick list.

ball-red-02 Deceased Clausius, W. H., EM3c received three lacerations of left wrist when he slipped on a pipe in the forward engine room and fell against a drill, injuring wrist on drill. Man was treated in sick bay and returned to duty.

Edwards, Arthur Thomas M., Lt. (jg) was detached from this vessel and ordered to proceed and report to the CO, US NAVAL AIR STATION, Dassas, TX, for temporary duty involving flying under instruction.
