June 21st, 1942 [0-4 Hours] Moored port side to Newstead Wharf, Brisbane, Australia in special anti-submarine condition of readiness. The above listed men [June 20th], returned on board having completed temporary shore patrol duty. [8-12 Hours] Moored as before. Ward, R. F., CWT(PA), USN and Kincaid, Robert H., SM2c, USN ![]() The Captain left the ship to pay an official call on COMTASKFORCE 44. Received 30 gallons ice cream for the General mess. [12-16 Hours] Moored as before. The Captain returned to the ship. ![]() June 22nd, 1942 [0-4 Hours] Moored port side to Newstead Wharf, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. [8-12 Hours] Moored as before. Transferred the following men, with bags, hammock, records & accounts, via commercial transportation, to report to the US Naval Liason Officer, Sidney, Australia, FFT, US REC.
